For the first time in the festival’s history, the opening of Warsaw Autumn will take the form of a cycle of mini-concerts and installations dispersed throughout the space of the National Philharmonic. They will complement the concert in the main hall.
On this day, sounds will resonate in atypical corners of the building, spaces that on a daily basis serve technical functions and are not always accessible to the public. Thanks to this formula, the listener will build their own program for their festival evening. They will decide not only which points on the philharmonic map they want to visit, but also in what order and how much time they will spend in each place. Walking through the building, guests will have the opportunity to listen to works of different character and different length, performed by both soloists and orchestral ensembles. Each listener will thus be able to engage with art at their own pace.
