For the sixth time on behalf of the Sfera Harmonii Foundation, we cordially invite you to the cycle of chamber micro-concerts WarszeMuzik!
From August 6 to 28 – 8 chamber concerts and 2 walks through the old Northern District.
This year – traditionally – you will hear a lot of music by the festival patron Mieczysław Wajnberg and other Polish composers of Jewish origin: Ignacy Friedman, Aleksander Tansman, Andrzej Czajkowski and Władysław Szpilman. There will also be works by great composers such as Ludwig van Beethoven, Maurice Ravel, Franz Schubert and Gustav Mahler. We have also prepared two world premieres: “Kaddish” by Jan Sanejka and “Explorations in Polytonality and Other Musical Wonders. Volume 3” by Matthew Shlomowitz – this year’s festival resident. And all of this in the beautiful courtyard of the Kamienica Pod Zegarem at ul. Chłodna 20 (Saturdays) and in the space of the Umschlagplatz Monument (Sundays). For the final festival concert, we cordially invite you to Plac Defilad.
